When my new CAT was installed, the air injection pipe was moved slightly. This caused my air bypass or air control valve (don't know which it is) to rest against the firewall behind the intake. I started noticing a vibrating noise inside while driving (actually idling). I can push the valve (I don't know what it is really called...has a vacuum line on top and 2 hoses going out both sides ) away from the firewall to stop the vibrating noise, so that isn't a problem. But I'm wondering why this thing is vibrating so much...is this normal or is it not working right? Would there be any noticeable symptoms if it wasn't working right? I pull the vacuum line off of it and it stops vibrating. What gives?
