No, I know where it is.. it's not running right. It acts like there is water in the fuel. No check engine light. Put it on computer is 2 different garages, nothing shows. New plugs, coil packs, fuel pump.. and the list goes on. Started doing it at about 90,000 miles. Any ideas? I will entertain any ideas at this point!!
a injector problem.. stay-ing open to long.. black spark plug.. not opening.. a misfire and the computer will report it. same if not opening as long as expected (lean).
Low fuel pressure can cause issues.
go to a shop with a portable OBD(I) II computer.. they can go for a test drive and read Real Time data...
they can SEE if injectors.. plugs firing. timing, fuel pressures, ALL sensors working.
One other question besides what is making it miss. Does anyone think it could be the computer? I have had computer problems in other vehicles.. seems like a reoccurring theme with me.. lol. Wondering what you all think. Thanks.
... Put it on computer is 2 different garages, nothing shows. ...
Did the garage computers have the capability to monitor Mode 6 data for misfires or just look for codes?
You can have a lot of misfires before a code is actually set, especially if it's 2 cylinders.
You can get an OBDII port bluetooth adapter for under $25 and software like Torque Pro $4.99 (Google) to see the data.
If you can narrow things down to 1 or 2 cylinders it will be much easier to figure things out.
Did you check the IAC valve, make sure no air leaks in the intake tube, check the throttle body down past the butterfly?
You indicated the fuel pump was changed.
How about the fuel pump relay or filter?
What is the fuel pressure?
