I've been lurking around for quite some time and finally bought a brand new 2017 F250, 4x4 Lariat Ultimate back in May. I didn't think this was going to be the reason for my first post, however I'm here haha.
I have a vibration on the front end. I cannot hear it, but I can definitely feel it in both the gas/brake pedal, and sometimes in the steering wheel. I've looked under the truck and put a wrench on about as much as I can. What has me confused is that I can feel it both in the steering and pedal, which makes me feel like it may not be suspension related?
Anyone have any issues similar to this?
And a picture of the new truck to make this thread less boring, lol.
Take to your dealer and make them check it out, including balancing all wheels, alignment check, crawl under there and make sure everything is perfect. It should NOT do this, even if its intermittant. Its brand new and I would lay off doing stuff yourself and make them get it right.

Well I can definitively say now (see below) that it's NOT the wheels, tires or suspension of the truck LOL. I believe it has something to do with the power adjustable pedal assembly.
May be drive-line related or drivetrain related. Mine has a jarring shake during regen and I think it’s fuel/air related or maybe a clogged dpf related to a recent TSB I found out about...
I have a vibration that starts at 65MPH and gets worse with higher speeds. I had the tires rotated last month which moved the vibration from the front to what feels like the rear seats. So...it goes to the shop on Thursday. I have about 5k miles and have had this vibration from day one. I'll post back on what the dealer says.
Ford just agreed to buyback my truck for this reason. They can’t figure out what is causing the vibration. 63mph and any throttle and it starts shaking. Problem is intensified when loaded or pulling a trailer.
I saw somewhere on youtube that someone tracked down a strange vibration that appeared to come from behind the dashboard to one of the dipsticks (I believe it was the transmission) rattling against something on the firewall.
Vibration and Rattle are two totally different things. Mine is going under the knife...found a bad injector in cylinder no. 6 ... so glad for a good, patient diesel mechanic @ Holiday Ford. We spent a day driving together from regen to regen and found the issue. Now he’s digging in...
My service manager thinks mine is injector related but ford kept telling him it’s tires and wouldn’t let him dig into the injectors. My motor was replaced at 800 miles and he thinks the injector programming could be to blame. Hopefully my new one won’t have as many issues as this one. Mine did it with 35s on stock wheels that were road force balanced 3 times, stock tires 3 times, anytime there was something in the bed, and pulling any trailer. He could hear what he’s calling a miss, but all I could feel is the vibration.

You gotta find someone with the patience to get an OBD recording of the injector / cylinder performance. There’s no denying a digital recording on the truck’s systems.

Haftahunt: I think Ford is giving my dealership the runaround. My truck has been there since 7/11 and I spent a day with their top diesel mechanic (7 hours behind the wheel, from regen to regen) and we were able to duplicate the jarring caused by a failing injector in the sixth cylinder. The mechanic was able to get a solid recording on the truck. Now, Ford is making them get another reading, another recording, during regen and they haven’t touched the truck.
How many miles did your’s have and what was your first step? I have a case number with Ford Customer Service and have also requested consideration for a comp’s ESP for my truck, if the work is extensive and/or unique.
