Looking to grab an exhaust tip for the 6.2L. I didn't opt to get the chrome package, but the tailpipe looks too plain for a 60k vehicle. The Ford tip in the chrome package is something like $110 outright, but I couldn't find the measurement on how long it was. Hate to grab something similar to have it obscenely hanging out the side of the truck. I can pick up a universal one for under $50.

Anyone know offhand the length?
Thanks!
The OEM chrome exhaust tip on our truck is 9-1/2" long. Here's a shot of it on our blue CCSB:
Here's a pic of the factory chrome tip on my old 2015 with the 6.2L - gives you an idea of how far it sticks out. The 2017 truck is very similar if not identical:
Wow, no kidding. Never noticed that, but you can see it on the 2017 pic shot from above.
I guess I kind of prefer the old style like mine. I guess you could order the old style so long as pipe diameter was the same. The '17 style is fine as well though.
Originally I was hoping to go to AutoZone or Pepboys and find an exhaust tip cheap since I've seen them there all the time. Picked one up that was supposed to fit to only find there is a metal netting that reduced the diameter causing it not to fit after the flare. This left it hanging out the side of the truck about 6" which looked silly. They had a completely bare chrome plated piece that seemed already bent, so that was a no-go.
So I saw the suggestions and took to Amazon crossing my fingers for better luck. I wanted to have it flare out a little more than just a cover (why not?).
It fit tightly, but what I found out (if I had looked at the pictures a little closer) is that there are these metal plates tacked in there that give the letters their color. Those plates actually cause the exhaust pipe to stop at the flare. This time it was an easy fix to just knock out the "colorized" metal.
Just wanted to follow up with what I ended up doing.

Are the RBP letters stamped on both sides of the pipe?
