F700 Gas tank
Been a while, as I have been busy outside of work, working on our property getting prepped for building in the woods!
On our 1989 F700, the gas tank started to leak, where the tank sits on the rails. It basically corroded on the bottom, and even though I'm sure it can be repaired, I am looking for a new one to replace it, but not sure where to look. Google searching and craigslist don't turn much up.
Any ideas or leads would be greatly appreciated!
It's a 1989 F700
Tank dimensions are,
Right Side (passenger) saddle tank
38L x 25W x 14H
It also has the step notch for entering the cab. And looks to hold about 50 gallons of gasoline if memory serves.

Where is the step, in the center or at the end of the tank?
And, please post the first 8 digits of your trucks 17 digit VIN.
The truck vin # is as follows, I will include the whole # if you can decifer it, as I don't have a shop manual for the truck.
1FDPF70HSKVA22654
Interestingly, the GVW on the tag is 30,000, even though it only a single axle dumpbed, and according to our CDL book, here in Mich., a single axle (no tandem drive axle), can only weigh a total of 27,000 legally.
But that's just a side curiosity for me.

Some people in this forum that wanted their VIN's decoded, thought they had F series trucks, but once I decoded their VIN'S, some were Louisville's (L/LN and etc.), some were C Series Tilt Cabs.
For all the work, it is 325.00 bucks, but hey, larger trucks always cost more. Just thankful it wasn't a tractor unit or a tandem axle truck. They really sock it to you on those bad boys!
