Fronts Springs?

Ok I posted this in the 73-79 forum with no help. I have a 1979 F-250 and I want to flip the rear spring hangers to gain about 4-5 inches of lift. but my problem is what to do with the front? Can I use the rear springs off of my truck and put them on the front? I have and extra set. Would they fit? Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Not sure about the rear springs up front but if the 79 is like the 80s trucks simply fliping the bracket won't give you 4-5in of lift, to get that you need to use the front spring bracket from the rear susp. in place of the original rear spring bracket. - did you get all that?? Just flipping the bracket will only get you about 1-2 in of lift.
