Added coolant

So after about 40,000 miles I had to add 1 1/2 pints of 50/50 orange coolant to my main tank to bring the level up to the "cold" full mark...does this seem normal for a closed system...or perhaps indicative of a VERY small leak somewhere that isn't showing...just wondering.

Thanks.

typical leaks occur on the drivers side of the radiator near the petcock.

If no leak then imho it is normal. I have added a little on mine as well. Heavy towing makes a nice hot motor and engine bay.
