2002 explorer sport DPFE sensor location?

2002 explorer sport DPFE sensor location?
The vehicle is a 2002 explorer 2 door with 4.0 SOHC engine. Check engine light is on, dealership says DPFE sensor.
Can anyone give as much info as possible?
Location, how to change, what it looks like?

anyone?
the dealer also "recommend" flush injectors, decarb throttle body and intake............
ill just change the DPFE sensor first, if i can find out where it is!

2002 explorer sport DPFE sensor location?
The DPFE sensor should be easy to locate.
It should have two vacuum lines and one electrical connector coming out of it.
On my '95 it is a silver square about 1.5 inch bolted on the right side of the valve cover.
The vacuum lines run down close to the EGR valve (it is the only valve with a Pnuematic "mushroom top" on it)
The two vacuum lines plug into a pipe which comes from the EGR valve and goes to the intake manifold on the back of my engine.

2002 explorer sport DPFE sensor location?
It is as CNTHOR descrides it. On my 96 Explorer, it's located on the left side of the engine, close to the EGR valve. When I changed mine, the nipples where the lines connected to were corroded and plugged. Very easy to access and change. Can't remember price but pretty sure it was less than $50.00
