My plan was to start exercising when I retired but have so many aches and pains it makes it hard, hopefully when they fix this shoulder I'll be able to do a bit of weight training for the upper body..shoulder has been bothering me quite a bit this past week..
So far so good here too. The only drawback was that I was up a little earlier than normal because my wife had to leave early today to go to a training class for work in Batavia, which is about half way between Rochester and Buffalo.
I have to run to the dealer after work tonight to get the oil changed in the truck. Hard to believe that I have put almost 5K miles on it already in 3 months.
Well it does not surprise me when I am driving 40 miles round trip for work. Then when we run around on Saturday we have been taking the truck for the most part. Sunday we take the Edge and I let my wife drive me around....lol. I use to think that the Edge was very comfortable until I get the new one. It makes the Edge feel almost like my old truck comfort wise....lol. Plus I am use to sitting up high and there is more room in the truck. Since I dropped my weight, there is more room in the Edge, but not as much as the 150.
The Edge is a great vehicle...I've been thinking about getting one myself. Newer pickup trucks are hard to beat when it comes to ride...especially with the long wheel base.
I agree, the Edge is a great vehicle. That thing goes through the snow like no tomorrow. My wife has put it in a snow bank a couple of times when trying to get in the driveway and it has not been plowed. Otherwise, it has been very reliable. Other than some brakes, a battery, tires, oil changes, a rear wheel bearing and the hard power steering lines....nothing has been touched on it since we got it. We have around 74K miles on it.
