68' hydroboost options
Wanting to put hydroboost on my 68'. It has 460 with tall Motorsport valve covers. Online I see some are using Astro van, later super duty and 99'-04' mustang hydroboost units. I'm concerned with valve cover clearance and will need to remove often to run valves. Which booster should I use? Can you flip 180 to put canister from hb on opposite side of valve cover? Any advice is appreciated

I did it to mine. I used a hydroboost unit from an 04 F250 from the wrecking yard. I flipped it upside down to clear my 460 valve covers. I had to get a double return power steering pump, and custom hoses made to make it fit. I think I may need to install a power steering cooler too. The pump starts to whine after the truck has been running for awhile.
