87 stalling intermittently

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 25-Nov-01 AT 04:32 PM (EST)]My truck has begun stalling occassionally and I can't figure it out. Here's it's history:

87 F250 Supercab, 460 w/ Holley 4bbl carb, 4 spd, 4x4. 68K on it - sat in a barn (no joke) since 97 and driven very rarely. Last full tune-up by Ford in 97 at 62K miles. It has the Duraspark II system without the EEC. I bought it from my cousin who bought it new June of 87 and he remembers it stalling and having the module replaced in the early 90's (that silver box on the left inner wheel well that has wires running to the coil and distributor).

Since my purchase 2 weeks ago I have done the following: replaced the air, oil, fuel, and PCV filters. Changed oil, flushed coolant, checked timing and set at 10 degrees (factory suggested 8 degrees). replaced cap, rotor, wires, and plugs. Cleaned entire engine compartment (mouse nest under air cleaner - but no damage luckily)!

What it does: the engine will be running perfectly smooth at idle then all of a sudden it just stops. No sputtering, no indication that it's going to stall...just "click" and then nothing. It did it 3 times while tuning it up last week and again today. It has never done it while driving.

Any ideas what to check?

Thanks in advance!
