Anyone have any tips to fitting new cab mounts to new floor pans? The bends don't even seem to line up. They are also built different then the originals. I'm not knocking the parts, just would like to know how others make them work.
The cab mounts you have are the slip on type to be used over a mount that is just starting to fail. You need the real deal mount that Carpenter makes. And even the ones from Carpenter will require a little heating and tweaking to get them tight against the floor pan.
