"K" guys I need some help. I have purchased a 95 F 250 XLT Super Cab. It has less than100,000 miles on it and very little rust. ( In Wisconsin That is a Rarity ) Unlike most of my previous older vehicles which I drive into the ground and move onto the next one. This truck I was thinking about putting some time and money into. My wonderful wife says it's my midlife crisis. Anyway I have trouble finding decent website for part information (specs) and general how to. I'm not looking into making a rock crawler or mud booger, just a good old fashioned 4 by 4 for weekend trips. Any constructive site ideas?
Depends what the truck needs and what your goals are. Sometimes just keeping them in good shape is enough work and all that's needed to keep an owner happy.
This thread is a bolt by bolt rebuild, very well done, and might give you some ideas: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1191920-here-goes-my-build-thread-97-f350-frameswap.html
I started by changing plugs, all fluids and checking all suspension components and vac lines. Fix all leaks and all that should keep you busy for a while. Come back when/if you have any issues Good luck Sandy
