Interested to see if there is an improvement in brightness.

I have the roof lights on the way and can let you guys know if you want
Definitely update us on the cab lights. I have been itching to buy them but am worried about the quality and don't want leaks.

My truck came with the bed lights and I am very happy with the brightness. They are only designed to light up the bed and they do a fine job of doing just that.

I always love the comparison in number of leds.. as if all LEDs are equal.. I've got a worklight downstairs that has 4 LEDs, and it will blind you without much trouble.

Personally, I like the bed lights at their current brightness. If they were much brighter, they'd be almost too bright for a look in the bed when my eyes are adjusted to the dark. At the current brightness, my eyes can adjust to the light, and back to the dark a lot easier.

Well then this is not the thread for you. This is a thread for adding lights and changing factory lights to brighter ones.

For everyone else who is interested... pictures to follow in a few minutes. Definitely brighter. My reason for brighter lights is because I have a bed cover so the bed lights are the only lights that light up my bed. The cab lights do nothing for me.

The way I performed the test is by covering one light at a time and locking the camera focus and brightness so that it won't change when taking pictures of both lights.
Camera focus and brightness locked on factory light.

Factory light

Recon

Both pictures are with just one light on.

Quality seems pretty good. They are definitely brighter than Factory. But I dont know if I would say they are worth the money if you don't have a bed cover on your truck. But for me they were worth it because that's the only light I have in my bed.

Complete plug and play. Took me about 40 seconds per light to change.
