1994 Wheel wells

1994 Wheel wells
Hey all,
I have a 94 Lightning and the wheel liners on the front are all screwed up. The PO had them out for some reason and I just can't figure out how they go back on. The area I have issue with is towards the cab and doors. Do they overlap the body, or does the liner fit under the body? None of the holes seem to line up quite right. I know it doesn't matter much but I want it to be as close to stock as possible. Call me obsessive ha. Please post pics if possible
