Loud wind noise

Just developed a loud wind noise issue. Passenger side a bit forward of the front door. At 80mph it was so loud you couldnt converse! It was a windy day but then it continued even at 50mph speeds. 4000miles 2017 SD250. Ideas?

Search "wind howl" here. If you have power scope mirrors try folding them in and out on the fly. On my truck the noise stopped every time I folded the mirrors in.

I've got the same thing. Noticed on test drive. Happens about 40mph on mine. Ford requires dealer to replace the windshield... It's on back-order. Doesn't really bother me, mud tires and volume **** mask it! We have same issue in f150 assembly plant. Unfortunately we can't always find air leaks, just water leaks. Engineers are working on it.

Where on earth do you drive a truck this size 80mph? My 2008 lifted at 140kmph sounded like sticking my head out the window.

I kind of think wind noise at such high speed with a truck designed like a wall is to be expected.

I have the same problem. Drivers side top left corner of windshield. Haven't taken the time to take it to the dealer yet.

The driver side doesnt do it. My girlfriend pulled hard on the door and it got quieter but comes back. Door was fully closed. That mirror is new however. Another druck sideswiped my mirror and the dealer replaced it. $1200 btw. Driver side is quiet. Gonna try a leaf blower. The guy that said its a highway brick, well rhey used to be. Tollroad in austin is 80moh speed limit and it was quite quiet last time I was on it and that trip also had tge new mirror. Is the LOGO VENT functional?
