Maybe their jeans had Kevlar linings, I doubt the hands and elbows did though..

I had kevlar linings on my jackey and pants when I wrecked-- still have huge scare on my arm-- and a huge gouge in my helmet!

Where they took that corner too fast, makes me wonder if the photographer was maybe waiting for an opportunity.
