Brands and cost of adding service body.

really wanting to put a service body on my 2015 long box. Not many avenues locally. Anyone know round about cost of getting basic steel bed? Painted to match. I know of reading, Monroe, warner, and knapheide. Any better than others? And can I use gooseneck with them? How hard to install? I have loader and backhoe.

When you say "servicebody" are you talking about the flat bed with under mount boxes and a headache rack on the front or something along the lines of what a telephone truck has for their servicebody? If its like a telephone style body then no you cant pull any type of 5th wheel or gooseneck trailer with that style. Now if it like a flat bed then yes you can tow a 5th wheel or gooseneck style trailer with that style..

The first one, the service body. All though I thought about a flat bed with tool boxes on side.

With a gooseneck you will need a special "short" service bed. if not you will hit it on the gooseneck. The bedsides of these are taller than a pickup. This was on mine when i bought it. I had a bumper pull travel travel trailer and a gooseneck equipment trailer. to work with the equipment trailer i would have either needed to make the gooseneck higher and longer or never drive off a perfectly flat surface.
