Window molding removal?

Window molding removal?
So on my platinum under the windows on each side I have this chrome strip. My buddies Lariat does not have this or its black? Can these be swapped or mine just removed?

don’t you have to remove the mirror in order to remove the front?
i am doing just the opposite, going from black to chrome

ok.
i’m pretty sure the mirror needs to be removed because there is a bolt holding the front of it under the mirror assembly

They can be saved depending in how you pull them off.
2 torx screws holding the outer belt molding. One on each end and 4 long clips that can break, holding it to the top of the outer door.
the mirror does not need to be removed just lift the molding up after you unclip it and slide it back. Just make sure it won't rub on the exterior door paint, the belt molding ends can scratch. Sometimes the front moldings bend and become damaged since they are long and the clips hold it down.
