Upgrades
Well I am new here and bought my amazing 2000 EX last year. It is the only truck that I have really wanted. Every now and then I like to upgrade parts with some kind of aftermarket products to make it more mine. I have been going to through threads before posting this one and wanted to know if anyone else has installed a performance fuel pump. She's a 6.8L V10. Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Congrats and welcome, post a pic of your Ex when you're able to.
The stock fuel pump works great for 100-130K, then needs replacement. Quite a chore on the V10 since the fuel tank needs to be dropped. I'd suggest waiting till your current pump dies before replacing. Any advantages to a h.p. Pump? Other than decreasing mpg?
I'd start with another upgrade. We have an upgrade thread that worth checking out.

A higher flow fuel pump will not help to add power.
Unless you upgrade injectors and retune PCM.
And then only at peak HP rpm, say 5000 rpm, if current pump and injectors are maxed out.
I did put a 195 lph (at 12V)pump in my excursion, but that was to supply my 30 lb injectors that feed a Kenne Bell blower on my V10.
