...possible ignition short...
I have an 88 F-150 5.0L that starts up fine, but if you turn on the blinker, or engage power windows, etc, the ignition shorts out. Most of the time it will start right back up and if you try the blinker or other device again it seems to sputter but not stall. Either the EEC relay or the Fuel pump relay buzz (or click) just before it dies. I have checked all grounds (all good) and have recently installed a new motorcraft ignition switch and lock cylinder. Has anyone seen anything similar before?
