How is it even possible to have a dash, door panels, and dash panel look that new after 30+ years? Even if you parked in an air conditioned garage, those items would still deteriorate (the plasticizers evaporate out of the plastics over time).
I don't think those parts are even available to a restorer. Well, I'm jealous too.
I love this truck. I bought a new 82 F150 stepper and a 4wd one in 1984.
As I approach geezer status now Ive been thinking of grafting on Crown Vic front, maybe rear too, and maybe drivetrain too onto a lowered stepside. I have even thought of doing same to a 96 Bronco XLT would make a great 2wd cruiser. Guys have done this to Bronco II but not full size broncos.
Dude is a dreamer, it's worth at best half that IMO. A true survivor and stepside adds value, but $20k for a six banger slushbox 2wd? $20k would be a stretch if it was a 4wd 302 4 speed.
Its only worth as much as someone will pay for it and lets hope that the seller gets as much for it as he can. As I no to restore any car/truck you would probably put a lot more into it
