I assume it uses two WP bolts for mounting? I would think it needs at least one bolt back to the head or intake manifold to not flop around. It would be nice if they showed it mounted, but I can't find any pics of that.
Bummer . . . this kits does not fit. It hits the generator/alternator. I'll have to send it back unless I can figure an alternative. It is rather expensive though not to work. And there are no instructions. Unisteer's tech support could not provide any pictures of their pump installed on an 8ba.

That price seems awful steep. Pete, I thought you had fabricated a bracket yourself.

I did but it is for a '55 T-Bird Eaton pump that only puts out only 650 psi. After driving the truck and considerable internet searching I found that the steering wasn't as it should be and the Toyota box requires 1100-1400 psi. More on this later as I will find a good solution. I may have to just modify my original brackets.
The problem may be in the fact that you are talking with a Unisteer "reseller" and not Unisteer. With a quick internet search I found the installation instructions and photos https://www.unisteer.com/3/category.html. Another interesting find on that site was a rack and pinion setup.

Thanks Charlie but I did talk to Unisteer first and they were no help. There is another version of the link that you provided posted on the Ford Barn but it doesn't address the main problem. I think that the vehicle is a '50 Ford sedan. As they have it designed the pump hits the alternator on an 8ba. But I think that I have figured out a solution. Monday I should get the offset alternator bracket from Speedway. I had new hoses made yesterday at a good NAPA store near me. I also figured out how to move the pump out to use the front unused fan pulley on the crankshaft. This lets me keep the wide belt for the alternator and water pumps. The Unisteer pulley is not wide. I didn't like their solution of having all those components on one narrow belt. It only cost a few bucks to move it forward.
After I get everything mounted and tested while driving and if there are no problems I'll post the parts list including belt numbers.

FOUR different Eaton P/S pumps, some have the Ford part number stamped on the large bolt head on the left side of the pump:
Thanks Bill. Do you know where to find the max regulated pressure output of these pumps? I would guess that maybe 1100 means 1100 psi but that is only a guess.

Well the offset bracket from Speedway came but it doesn't fit despite the fact that their website says it does. The first problem is that it puts the generator/alternator right in the middle of the right radiator tube. Offenhauser says that they make a replacement thermostat housing and special tube that routes the hose to the right of the alternator/generator (kind of odd looking in my opinion). But they also said that that bracket's mounting throat is too narrow and allows the bracket to twist sideways in the mount on the intake manifold.
So it is on to plan C. I already have a steel GM 1-wire alternator bracket that works well. I just need to extend the base about 4-6" to raise the alternator to clear the Unisteer pump and brackets.
Here is the Unisteer pump all mounted with the correct hoses and belt on the forward pulley.
