engine repowering
I am entertaining the idea of repowering my 87 f150 351 short bed supercab with a 390. I have had 2 previous ford trucks with the 390 engine and the performance and fuel economy was far superior to the 87"s 351 engine. The 87 has the C6 tranny with air and trailer package and I am wondering if the 390 will drop right in with no problem. Thx for any/all resonses.
