Check coolant additive
So at 39,000+ miles the "check coolant additive" message comes on....is this another "reminder" like the one I saw at 20,000 miles or does actually mean something?
Oh yah, I also need to look at the owners manual...but it's clear outside in the truck.

Yes, just a reminder to check that the antifreeze level is at good strength, radiator is not leaking so level is right, and that there is no contamination needing a booster or flush/change. That said, read the manual if you tow a lot. The normal flush/drain interval is drastically reduced uf youbtiw a lot and manual specifically states if additive is otherwise indicated, flush and drain instead...
