84 E350 wheel options

I have an 84 E350 cargo van and looking at needing some tires soon. I'm running the factory 16.5" wheels. My question is what ford own wheels will fit this setup? I was told later model wheels will fit but I'm not so sure. Since the 16.5s are odd ball sizes thinking I could get different wheels to expand my options.

8 lug wheels on a 6.50" bolt circle: 1953/98 F250; 1967/98 F350; 1969/74 E300; 1975/2014 E250/350.

F250/350's went to metric wheels in 1999, but no Econoline (E100/150/250/350) of any year has metric wheels.
