I've ran them and liked them fine except they throw rocks if you drive on gravel. And I had one with about 80% tread let go and tear the fender off my Super Duty.

I feel like that's unavoidable.. maybe I'm wrong. And super dutys are just hard on tires. I don't know why. Our F-350 has gone through more tires than any other vehicle we have. Can't ever make it through a set without having separations... nittos were the worst. Bfgs were slightly better. The coopers were great but only ran for a few months before being taken off and replaced by bigger ones.

Toyo tires have always been good to me, You can't hardly go wrong with 10 plys.
New tires are always nice. I have been running General Grabbers on my 05. Aggressive tread, quiet for the tread pattern, excellent for plowing and general use. 1st set I ran 80,000 miles. I was always a BFG guy in the past. The Generals are quite a bit less expensive.
New tires is like a fresh piece of bubble gum. Wait til the "goody" wears off for true steering feedback.
Oh yeah I know. I'm hoping they'll get settled and be even more stable. But anything is an improvement over those damn Falken tires I had....

I hear now Toyo is making 12 ply, Load Range F tires, to meet the demands and capabilities of the new heavy-duty trucks. That's gotta be one tough tire!

WTF is what you say when coming out of Wal-Mart and don't remember where you parked, "Where's The Ford?"

I put a set of AT3 31x10.5x15 on my daily driver 98 Durango. They lasted about 55k miles and 4 years. In that time, I had 2 teenage drivers, with my son pounding the crap out of it. The tires held up well, worked well in snow, and got me out of quite a bit of sticky mud. I just had another set put on last year or so. Thinking of putting the Cooper STT's on the 68. Not so much that I need that type of tire for the driving I do with the truck, but just to keep the look.
