So a little update.. I was using a test light on the wires that are supposed to connect to the ipr on the harness. I have a 12v ground coming from one of them and I'm not quite sure why Shouldn't I have 12v power coming off of one and the other going to the pcm??

Just to clarify I believe at this current time the problem is my ipr valve wiring

FIGURED OUT A HUGEEEE THING TONIGHT!! Turns out the harness that yiu delete when you get rid of the fuel bowl wasnt supposed to go away because the ipr valve connector is on it and when I tested for 12v I had it! I had a check engine light come on and I have 3 codes coming up and was wondering how I can solve my issues. P0113 P1668 P0708 and also to mention my rpm's are only around the 150 +/- 20 not sure if that matters but I thought I'd mention it! Thanks all for the help I could use all of it I can get!

I'm following this thread VERY, VERY closely as my truck too is in the exact same situation (still two months of not running). I also had bare wires at my IPR connector and did the exact same fix you did with an old injector connector and still no start

I received my truck in the beginning of march and I have never driven it.. Have you done all the aftermarket parts like I did?

DTC= P1668
Circuit = PCM/IDM
Condition = PCM/IDM diag. communication error
Probable causes: Open/shorted EF or FDCS wire, open IDM grd.

This is what I have found for that code. If you took the whole harness out it would never run. Or I am reading your post wrong. Put the harness back in and clear codes then try to start. See what codes come up again. I think the p0113 and p0788 refer to air intake temp and trans range sensor. ( these two I would not think would keep the engine from starting. If you took the harness out I would think it would for sure throw the P1668 code. If I am wrong someone please correct me.

Also have you checked fuses? esp # 22? Which is the one for the fuel heater If I remember correct. It also powers pcm. ( If you are pulling codes I guess the pcm has power)

No, my truck is pretty much stock except for a Banks chip. Does anyone have instructions or pics how to manually send 12v to the IPR?

Easiest way is using a power probe if you have one. An alternative method is too hook it straight to the battery.

All of my fuses are good! That's what is making this whole situation very weird...

So I can tap in 12v to the connector by splicing into the "+" lead while it plugged into the IPR?

I just rigged up a wire stup using old valve cover harness pigtail and a couple
chunks of random wire. Butt connected to the pigtail and ran it straight to the battery's.

Maybe we can both get our trucks running now wouldn't that be nice!

Remove the banks chip and try to start it.

But what about the signal wire from the ipr, leave it temporarily?
