I have a 1988 ford f super duty with the 7.5 460 in it and looking for the serial number off the steering gear box for it but the metal tab is missing....does anyone have the serial

number?....pic for attention

 

are you sure that is an F-SuperDuty? it looks more like a F350 4X4. the F-SuperDuty was 2 wheel drive only unless it had an aftermarket conversion, and also had 10 lug dual wheels. that truck is an 8 lug single wheel.

The truck was a 2wd dually a while back being converted over to a 4x4 using a dana 44 axle and donor parts out of a 1979 f350 using the transfer case and axles but i cant remember the lugs it had but it currently has a 8 lug pattern fyi sorry for the late guys i was stuck in a long training session for my career
