Starter/solenoid wiring question

I’m installing one of the smaller high-ratio starters in my ’82 Bronco/460 and need some help. The stock starter requires only a cable from the battery/solenoid. The aftermarket starter requires the main cable and a wire from the neutral safety switch actuated by the ignition. On the solenoid front there are two terminals, one with an I right above the terminal (I assume for the ignition as I have it wired to the coil) and the other with S right above the terminal. I can’t get to the ignition/that terminal at the same time to determine if it gets juice when I turn the key to start position and am hoping someone can enlighten me as to whether that’s the neutral safety switch wire from the ignition. I have the original Ford Manuals and they have no reference to my question.

TIA,

George

(apology for cross-post but I need help)
