After two service trips to the dealer we finally found the source of the front passenger floor water intrusion. Not the SAT antenna or moonroof drains. There is a faulty body seam at the front of the cab running along the A pillar. Now waiting for Ford to decide how they want it addressed. It's a mfg issue.
The service manager and I both agreed it's not acceptable to just "goop it up" and hope for the best. Wanted to share in case any of you have a leak that can't be traced and resolved. You might have this issue.
Kudos to my hometown dealer for not blowing it off and simply coding it as "can not replicate." I was in the shop with these guys and it was really hard to see it. Luckily it's the dry season here and the truck sits in the garage when not in use. Will be curious how Ford decides how they plan to fix it.
I'll get pics when they tear into it again when repair is done. The shop guys buttoned up the truck while I was inside visiting the service manager.
Build date Jan 17 so a LATE Job 1 build.
Mine is 1/17 build as well. Have washed a couple of times but not driven in the rain yet. Will take a look/monitor and let you know if it leaks next rainy day.
Mine pools in the trough near the door sill and makes a spot about 6x12 near the sill, centered in the floor plan. Doubt it's a date specific item but will keep the forum posted on what Ford determines as root cause.
I have just gone though the same thing earlier this week, right front floor gets wet, there is a tubular A post structure, in my truck when the BCM was removed if you sprayed water, the compartment would fill up until it was at the top of the BCM hole then run onto the floor, if the PCM is pulled out and you look into the hole to the left you can see the top of that structure, there is a plastic type of cap that is sealed to the structure as well as a seam behind the inner fender well. Mine was resealed externally plus they told me that the foam in the bottom of the compartment is not supposed to be solid as there is a drain on the bottom so they opened that up a little. I have had no more water entry after this and I water tested it myself for 1/2 hour. Truck is a CC SB F250 Job 1 built Febuary
Let me add that if I had not pulled the kick panel off to run a few wires I would not have even known I had a leak for quite some time, luckily I was in the right place at the right time and caught it before any damage was done

I just checked out my passenger side A pillar seam. Mine has a nice bead of yellow sealant. With the hose on it, no water is getting by it.
Orondo, I'm a boating type of guy and have quite a bit of experience caulk/sealant/adhesives. When I get a new boat from the factory sometimes it is hit or miss with this stuff. Might be best to have them remove as much of the existing sealant and redo it with the factory stuff if they can get it.
Back story....driving to Denver thru Eastern Colorado on two lane in a mid April rain/snow/heavy wet slush. ...heavy snow fall! The slush on the highway is probably 2" deep and light traffic. ...then I meet an 18 wheeler and take a load of slush on the windshield. I couldn't believe how loud it was in the cab and still had a winshield in place. Fast forward, make it to Denver and the next morning I find this in the truck. ..
Difficult to see droplet but had to dry it several times.
Since then, I've been in heavy rains parked, driving and truck wash with no leaks or water. Maybe this will help someone make the case with a dealer as to an issue but for me, so far, hasn't happened again.
Ok...here's a confidence boost for you: I've had my truck for 7 months today and it has over 8k miles on it, and it has the moonroof. No leaks of any kind. We've had a lot of rain and snow up here in New England, and I wash the truck weekly.

My sons 2016 F150 has the exact same issue. He videoed it leaking and his console looks just like yours. He's had it into the dealership twice now and they're telling him that this is normal for this body style. He's not happy having a $50,000 terrarium. Mold is starting now.
I guess since it has an aluminum body and rust isn't an issue,,, Ford figures, let it leak!

what a crock! Damn idiot dealers! If I wanted a bathtub I would have BOUGHT one!
I'm with Troverman....my truck just cycled 12,000 miles this week, it's washed weekly (it's Tuxedo Black) , survived blowing snow and spring rain down pour (it's the TX panhandle). This is THE ONLY issue I've had with my truck. Love the truck and wouldn't hesitate to buy it again. ....
