Pulling Dents?

Has anybody used a sink plunger to pull dents? Does it work well?

I watched it on youtube and it seemed to work well. I suppose it is based on the type of dent. I am going to give it a try on my car as I have a small dent that I wish to pop out as I can't get to it from the back side.

The plunger worked a little on my dent, I was able to get a finger behind the wheel well cover and press from the back side.
