On 134a conv fitting the schrader does not depress?

Is this an issue or not? On a 1990 E 150 4.9 inline 6 cyl I'm converting to 134a and what happens when the schrader does not get depressed when fitting is installed? I may have wrong fittings?

When I evacuate will the evac hose fitting depress schrader? Looks not.

Anyone gone thru this?

Thanks in advance.
