I have a 93 ranger xlt supercab with 4.0L v6. Running at about 220km.

I was beginning to wonder about the timing belt/chain.
In reading some of this forum, I am expecting it has a chain rather than a belt.

Now the real question (assuming I have a timing chain) - what is the expected lifetime / service requirements for a chain.

you have a chain, replace when you rebuild the engine or have lot of noise coming from the timing cover.
