I had PVC trim on this one that was a repair about 10 years ago that was in perfect condition. I think if this one was built with it I wouldn't be repairing it now.

Just better hope a heavy wind doesn't blow it off the roof after you repair it...LOL

Been up there 25 years with no problems other than rot. Since the last roof was installed there were no screws holding it to the base, just caulk.
