Please help!! I have to (well allready took apart) replace my center link, but I am stuck. The old bolts and cotters are not broke, and I havnt broken anything, but...
I unbolted all bolts and took out pins, I pushed the inner tie rod out, but now the center link will not slide out of the pitman arm nor the spindle (I think that is what it is attached to on the passenger side)
Question is: do I need a special tool? (like the "steering wheel puller" that is recommended but seldom used) and HOW is it done??
which should I get? Or does it depend on MY truck?? The stores here all have a (quote) "tie rod end puller, that works the same way as a pickle fork..."(end quote)
