Cruise control ??????

I've got a '96 F350 5 speed Powerstroke with no cruise control. I just picked up a '95 F350 5 speed Powerstroke that has cruise. Anyone ever retrofitted cruise to a non cruise truck??? What am I getting into??? Thanks in advance

First thing to try is just swapping the steering wheels. If that doesn't do it, you could try swapping the PCMs. That might be all you need.

Thanks.....was gonna swap out to the tilt column anyway.......so guess I'll give it a go......

Yes, all PCM's are cruise enabled from a software standpoint. It's just the steering hardware that is different.
