It hasn't showed up on COTUS yet but on ETIS it shows a build date of 30.11.0002. Is this in code? Because it doesn't make any sense.

That is the default code, a build date isn't assigned until the week before the build.

I ordered my truck on 30 March and received the VIN on 14 April, COTUS has been showing my truck as "In Order Processing" since the 14th.

I requested a Vehicle Visibility Report from my dealer last Thursday and it shows a Secondary Status of "Scheduled to Week (Week of May 22) I have no idea what that means. It also says that my ETA is Jun 10 - Jun 16 so it looks like they are back to 10 weeks for delivery.

The report Status Date/Time as April 13, so I assume that nothing has been done to my order since the 13th.

Ford plans the builds by week (date is always a Monday). So your truck is going to hit the assembly line the week of May 22nd (it has been scheduled for week of May 22nd - make sense?).

The week prior, pending it hasn't been pushed back, Ford schedules all vehicles for the week and you will have a (schedule to day XX) status. That is the day of that week it will start the assembly line. 5-7 days prior to the build DAY, your window sticker will be available online.

Nothing will change status wise till the week prior (from April 13th) till Ford figures out what day it starts the week of May 15th.

If you are asking me I signed the papers on Friday evening April 21st about 5:00 PM so i'm not sure if the order was submitted that evening or the following Monday.

Blwnsmoke,

Thanks for the info. After reviewing the Visibility Report I assumed most of the data you provided but your clarification of the timeline is helpful.

I think FMC dropped the ball with the COTUS program, the concept was great and could be fantastic for consumer relations and sales. Unfortunately, it seems like they started in the right direction them for some reason just stopped development about 60% of the way to completion. With all of the ordering, scheduling, building, and delivery data being computerized they could have easily integrated all of the data into COTUS for customer review and tracking. As it is now it seems hit or miss.

Hell, the folks on CHAT would be ecstatic if COTUS worked, I'll bet they spend most of their day answering status requests because COTUS is so inaccurate.

I would imagine that if they advertised the ability to "custom order" and track vehicles there would be a lot of sales generated.

Im in about the same boat, I signed my papers the 14th probably around 5 also so I figured it was submitted the following monday but I haven't received an update since then. The dealer has no info for me and ford chat says its in processing, so I was just seeing when I might expect an update but seeing you ordered a week after me who knows when I will get an update

Mine was "In Order Processing" for almost a month. Sometimes certain trucks/configurations get pulled more quickly than others, it all depends on the cycle the plant is on as the order is in flight.

I saw on the order/build spreadsheet that your window sticker date is 5/5/17 (same as mine) have you received a build date in ETIS yet.

Checked in Cotus this morning to check for any updates and finally I have a VIN. Order date was 5-5 and 13 days later I have a VIN. Now it's starting to seem like its really going to happen. Almost feel like a little kid again and its getting close to Christmas time. It looks like people are seeing 2-3 weeks from VIN to WS. I hope this holds true. I leave for a weeks vacation with the family to Colorado on July 1st and was hoping to have the truck by then. Fingers crossed. Good times....

Appreciate the update on their timelines! Ordered 4/27, VIN on 5/4, scheduled for 5/29, checking EVERY day for WS.... WS should show up anytime!!!!!!??????
Our ETA is 7/2, sure hope it comes early so we can get the magic 1,000 - it needs to pull a mustang to show in the middle of July!
