XM Radio
I'm getting ready to get the XM radio for my truck. I was wondering if anyyone else had it, and how well they liked it. All I've heard about it is good, just wondered if anyone had an opinion.

I don't have personal experience with it, but from what I've heard from others who have it, and from what I've read in TruckTrend magazine, Sirius is a little better. It costs a few bucks more per month, but it's totally commercial free whereas XM has some commercials. And the satellite system is a bit more reliable with Sirius. At least, that's what the mag. said. If I get satellite radio, I was going to go with Sirius anyway.
I think you'll like it. You'll never loose your channel, and there's tons of stuff to pick from. Even news, weather, sports, and traffic info. Sounds pretty neat to me.

I had XM for 6 months and switched to Sirius due to programming. XM didn't have any rock channels that I thought were worth listening to. So before switching to Sirius I went to their website and you can listen to the streams of music for 20 minutes free of charge. Both work pretty much the same, I do get a little bit better coverage where I live with Sirius than I did with XM. But I suggest going to both websites and checking out the programming before making a decision.
