Anyone else having issues with Midfifties answering questions via Email? I have sent two emails and they have not answered. They use to be real good about answering. If they cannot be any better with customer service I will find somewhere else to get the parts I need for my 53 f100.

I emailed a while back about something small that I wanted to order. Maybe bigger orders take priority as all of my bigger order questions etc were answered right away, or they just didn't see it. Could be a million reasons.
Same experience here - it has been a week and no response to 2 emails. I called today and got an answer in a couple hours (even though they offered no solution to the problem with a brand new lock assembly). Once in a while their customer service has been excellent, but others complete miss. The past few orders have had problems of not fitting or missing/ wrong hardware.
Abe, BJ - if you put cotton batting over the foam you can fill in that space to fit. Plus you will find the cotton is much cooler to sit on a long drive. It worked on my 49 and found same on the 38. On the 38 I used a single size mattress topper from Costco. They are guaranteed for 10 years and are memory foam that stays cool. Cost was $89 on sale and I did both front and back seats for seat and backs.

Thanks, it's too late for me as my seat was done last spring. I wish I had used cotton batting like original. I bought the 2 inch foam for the seat and it is too much. I sit too high. And the upholsterer used some of his own foam for the seat back after I sent back MidFifty's foam. With that foam I sit too far forward.
I found out that the Deluxe or Custom Cab seats that got foam are designed differently than the standard cab seats that got cotton batting, like my seat. Wish I had known this before!
