odd squeek/rattle when a/c on

...I'm not sure if it's caused by the a/c or not. seems when it's on there is a squeek/rattle under neath the truck. it goes away when I hit the gas too...

any help is always appreciated... thanks

Well, turning the A/C on would put load on the belt... So it could be a belt slipping or going bad... Only other thing I can think of is the A/C clutch going bad, so you better hope it's the belt...

I would also check the heat shields on the exhaust system.

I have the same rattle in my truck. It only happens when the truck is warm and goes away when i either hit the gas, press in the clutch, or turn off the a/c.
