I just installed the kit...except for the trepidation/slight difficulty getting the glass off the mirror motor (was being very careful since I didn't want to break anything!), the install of this kit is VERY simple, and it's totally plug and play. The reflector is replaced with a blacked out LED strip which is wired to a two-pin molex, and the turn signals (inside of the mirror) are replaced with smoked units which feature two pins for the outside LED lens to plug into.

I don't have puddle lamps, so I can't speak to their install/effectiveness. The factory turn signal location seems like it might be a tad brighter, but when off, the smoked lens blends into the mirror housing very well. And the front reflector replacement looks great: glossy black finish, and the LEDs seem pretty bright as well.

While I had it all apart, I decided to fix the omission of chrome mirror caps on the XLT Chrome Package, so now my mirrors are chrome-topped, with signals on both sides of the mirror head, and no gaudy orange reflector marring the appearance!

I'll get some pics tomorrow and see if I can edit them into this post.

Yea, I think the factory turn signal at the back of the mirror is a tad brighter, but I also thinking it's because it's a clear lens with amber backing and also because the smoked ones are deflected away from the interior so they're not quite so bright. Install is super easy besides getting the mirror glass off, agreed! I really like how they integrated the outside turn signals with the inside ones using the molex connectors. Very cool idea! Those orange reflectors are definitely terrible!

I do have a question. My '10 does not have the puddle lights and was wondering if the wire harness connections for them are there? I have a cover over the opening where they would mount. I am thinking about swapping the stock head and tail lights for smoked ones and the Pulley kit would make a nice addition.

I was wondering this myself

The last Poster stated "I don't have puddle lamps, so I can't speak to their install/effectiveness" so I am assuming we wouldn't be able to install them if not OE equipped. Ever since we bought my wife's 2016 Fusion, I wanted them in my truck too. I actually took my RH mirror apart to see if there was a plug inside there for them & if so I'd buy some, but no extra plug anywhere!

EDIT: Where did u guys buy this Kit, Google returned nothing

Hmmm, that is interesting. The Pulley Kit that I believe they are taking about is this one.

LED Side View Mirror Reflector, Indicator & Puddle Lamp Suitable for 2009-2014 Ford F150

My truck is a base FX4 so it does not have the smoked lights, but I am thinking about replacing my wheels with some matte black ones (factory clear has failed and the aluminum had oxidized). I would like to make the yellow reflector on the front of the mirrors operational so this has caught my interest.

This is indeed the kit I got; ordered through Amazon, had it in less than three days. However, when I ordered, Amazon claimed there was only one in stock. I didn't check the link on the actual Pulley Auto Parts site today to see what kind of stock there was.

Also, I do not recall seeing any extra wiring available for the puddle lamps- my XLT has power heated mirrors with driver side dimming, but no puddle lights, and I didn't notice any extra wire harness intended for them just hanging around in the mirror housing.

Mine are power, heated and self dimming also.

I see that you are in NY, what part of the state are you in? I am in the Rochester area.

I'm just north of Albany.

And I did check the links on the Pulley Auto kit page: Amazon says this is discontinued and no info on it coming back in stock. And I'm on a GOV network, so I can't check the "ebay" link they posted...perhaps I got the last of these??

Recreate the package

Bummed that the the entire package isn't available, so I did a little research on recreating it.

Went to the site and grabbed the various components:
• 1pc of driver side LED mirror reflector
• 1pc of passenger side LED mirror reflector
• 1pc of driver side LED mirror indicator
• 1pc of passenger LED mirror indicator
• 1pc of driver side LED mirror puddle lamp
• 1pc of passenger LED mirror puddle lamp
Link to site
Retail price is $128

Starting with the mirror indicator:
Driver side OEM Mirror LED turn signal lamp (4L3Z13B375AA) ($54) -
Link Link
Passenger side OEM Mirror LED turn signal lamp (4L3Z13B374AA) ($54) -
Link Link
A1Auto ($29) - Link
ebay ($25) - Link

Puddle lamp:
LED Side View Mirror Puddle Lamp Suitable for 2009-2014 Ford F150
$58.00
Amazon Amazon

ebay(DBMotor) ($58) Link

ebay (chinese) ($30) Link

ebay (OEM - non LED) ($25) - Link

And the various reflectors:
Smoked LED Side Mirror Reflector Suitable for 2009-2014 Ford F150
$68.00 - Link

Amazon (DB Motor) ($68)
Link Link

Amazon (Restyling Factory) ($65) Smoke or clear, Amber is extra $5
Link Link

Amazon (Anzo) ($53)
Link Link

Overall pricing:
Cheapest:
$30 - 1 chinese puddle lamp kit (2 lights)
$50 - 2 A1Auto turn signal lamps ($25/each)
$65 - 1 Restyling factor Reflector kit
$145 - Total

Me personally, I would "upgrade" to the DBMotors puddle lamp kit for the additional $38 dollars.

If I've screwed up the math or have inappropriately linked to something, let me know and I'll fix it. It seems that for less than $20 you can have a similar experience.

I know that shipping and timing might play into it as well, but that is up to the taste of the buyer.

Hope this help.

Thanks for that! I would push to just get DB Motor's whole kit simply to ensure it's all plug and play. Some of the other brands of stuff isn't, i.e. Recon's LED third brake light requires splicing into the factory wiring and my OEMassive one was plug and play.

I popped those amber Reflectors out & tinted them, they don't light up of course, but I think they look excellent. Have been this way almost a year now

"The Auto Tech" is a bad influence

Purchased the "PulleyAutoParts" Kit myself, but ended up installing the included Puddle-Lamps in my wife's 2016 Fusion as an upgrade.
I didn't feel like hard wiring those in my Truck & since her car comes with stupid halogen bulbs in the puddle lamps (LED's everywhere else, thanks for slacking Ford) I gave her car a present too.... Bought off eBay

Absolutely love that upgrade!

I haven't done anything lately with the truck. At this point the only exterior stuff I've got left to do is getting the door and tailgate handles paint matched, painting the chrome strip on my running boards black, and getting the Limited lower bumper grille and painting it black. I don't like that there's just a dead open space in the bumper. Looks unfinished. Besides that I'm gonna get the front and rear bumpers repainted, a couple dents pulled, and a full detail. Lots to spend this month!
