Hello to fellow Ford enthusiasts I’m “Just Dave” first fell into this obsession as a smallchild. Dad was a military man who bought an old 49 Ford truck to pull ourmobile home from post to post while he attended one flight school after another (fixed and rotarywing; single and multi engine and flight instructor). No greater adventure thanto ride with dad in the “big truck” pulling our house down those old pre-interstatehi-ways (1960-63) with mom and my brother following behind. We pulled all overthe southern US from Ft. Hood Texas to Ft. Benning Georgia to Ft. RuckerAlabama till dad was killed in an aircraft crash in Germany in November 1963. Finally found a restoration project to commemorate my dadand those days. It’s an old 51 F-7 fire truck with the 337 big block flatheadwhich was exciting to me because we had one like it on the fire department whenI first hired on in 1985. Looking forward to getting to know everyone but most of allam very interested in when and where the next Truckstock gathering will be. Excited Just Dave
