Michelins on our motor coach are great...but I don't like 'em on the pickup truck.
I have not gotten good wear out of them & they aren't a good (soft grass/soil) tire...fine in the snow & rain.
I got better wear out of the BFG M&S tire I had on the 2004 f350 than I did out of the Michelins on the same truck.
My buddy got over 75k out of his on a 2000 F350 dually.
I got over 80k on my F150. One of the few reasons I belong to Sam's Club is for their Michelin Tires. They're not quite as good as the LT X but they're pretty darn good.
If you're topping that with ANY other tire, God Bless You.
But I understand that BFG has made great strides in their tires. I'm just one of those guys that, if it ain't broke don't fix it. I used to be, "If it ain't broke, fix it until it is" but that got expensive so I stopped.
So if you're happy, stay with that. Good luck and keep on rolling
It depends on if you tow heavy often or need snow traction. I had the Michelin LTX AT2's on my last SD. At 18k they were almost done for. They also are more of an AS tread than an AT and weren't good for the occasional plowing I do at all. I replaced them with the GY Wrangler AT Adventure that some of the 17 SD's come with now. They wore much better and were much better in the snow. So, if I used my truck more as a commuter as opposed to a heavy hauler and plow truck, the Michelin's would likely have served me just fine.

f150 isn't an apples to apples comparison.
Hell I can get 500k out our Michelin XE3's on the coach and it weighs 40k lbs.
I got nearly 80k out our BFG M&S's - and a TON of those were interstate.
I couldn't even eek out 60k out my Michelin's - as they say YMMV.
