This tank is mid-ship.

It sounds like I need the E5TZ-9275-G sender.

How would I go about finding contact information for some of the sellers that may have the fuel sender that I'm looking for?

Both of these are Boucher Fords ads.

I'd suggest calling the other sources I listed (in post #47) to see if any will be cheaper.

Yup, that's what I'd said.

I didn't see that brickster had edited his post from this afternoon.... I just got out of work and replied.

Neither one of those two pumps look like the one that came out of the truck.

Here's a photo from the 1st link:

And here's what mine looks like:

One of the parts suppliers I spoke with today suggested that it was a E5TZ-9275JA that I needed, but he didn't have one.

Be thankful, because it's WRONG!
Did you tell this supplier exactly what you're working on?

This F350 was sold new as a Cab & Chassis (no "back of cab" equipment, so it's not a pickup). According to the Certification Label, it has a 137" wheelbase.

E5TZ-9275-JA .. Fuel Tank Sending Unit-Use with mid-ship tank with dual fuel lines / Obsolete

1985/86 F250/350 351W/460 4V with 133" .. 155" and 168.4" wheelbases. The 137" wheelbase is not listed.

133" = Regular Cab Styleside pickup; 155" = Super Cab Styleside pickup. I don't recall what the 168.4" refers to, but it's a moot point.

Look on the top of your sending unit to see if there's an ID number stamped on it.

OK so the E5TZ-9275-JA isn't the right one, but it looks a lot closer to what I have than the E5TZ-9275-G in the photo above, so I'm confused. The E5TZ-9275-G only appears to have one line in the photos.

Here's a photo of the E5TZ-9275-JA from a recent eBay sale:

According to the Master Cross Reference Catalog: E5TZ-9275-G is marked with ID number: E5TF-9275-EA

Parts catalog makes no mention of the number of fuel lines for this part number.

Look at your sender to see if it is marked. Ford sometimes stamped the ID number on the outside of the senders.

OK I'll clean it up and see if I can find a number. Thanks!

I cleaned up the sending unit and found a sticker that appears to read E5TF-9275-JA.

Any idea who has one of these?
