Hi! I'm new to ford trucks and to 1 ton and larger trucks. I bought an 89 f350 with a 7.3 idi a couple of years ago and have been very pleased with it. I just went to california with a pickup camper on the back.
Now I.ve went and bought a 67 f35 (according to the title), but it seems bigger. The door tag reads F60CC776282, but I know doors can be changed. Is there another number stamped on the frame somewhere? I need to do the brakes and need to figure out the model and year. It was sold to me as a 67, but it has a single master cylinder, didn't dual mastercylinder start in 67??
Also the body (cab) looks like a 65-66
Also the wheels are 20", wouldn't a 1 ton have 15 or 16??
Main question is there a place for frame stamped vin??
Thanks in advance for any help.
Hi! I'm new to ford trucks and to 1 ton and larger trucks. I bought an 89 f350 with a 7.3 idi a couple of years ago and have been very pleased with it. I just went to california with a pickup camper on the back.
Now I've went and bought a 67 F35 (according to the title), but it seems bigger. Series code, 1st 3 digit of the VIN =F35 is an F350, but this truck is not an F350 nor a 1967.
The door tag reads F60CC776282
F60 = F600.
C = 330 2V M/D FT engine.
C = Oakville Ontario Canada Truck Assembly Plant.
776282 = 1966.
1961/66 doors are the same, 1967 doors are completely different.
VIN stamped atop right frame rail, either in front of, or partially under the cab.
