87 f350 need parts list/diagram for hub
So I was driving home from work and my hub completely destroyed itself. I've been searching for days through everything I can think of to find a parts list for what I need. Most of the parts that were left on the spindle are completely shredded and I'm left clueless as to what I need to buy... I'm desperate to find a labled diagram of the assemble from the spindle to the manual locking hub...

Just had one do the same thing but I was able to reuse the spindle. So if you're going to walk in a store you need a pair of locking hubs of your choice. Mile markers are affordable and most places around here don't have warn in stock. A spindle nut conversion kit which will be for both sides as well, and affordable is not the right word to use for 4 stupid nuts and 2 washers. Inner and outer bearings and a new seal (that's still on your spindle). Oh and the races don't come with the inner bearing so make sure to get one of those. A tub of grease, a spindle.
Couldn't tell you where to get a diagram but maybe in a spicer PDF if you search Dana 60 parts.
You could get everything but the bearings from a junkyard truck if you're so inclined. Besides the dirty pain in the butt that sounds like, you may run into similar problems with the used parts. I WOULD try to get the spindle nuts and washer there over spending $75 or more in store. Don't forget the special socket with the nipples.

Try bronco graveyard.
Spindle nut set is $19 and spindle (with spindle bearing/seal kit) is $119.
Other than that inner and outer wheel bearings/races and a inner hub seal.
Not too much to them.
The only catch is you can't buy a Ford Dana 60 hub new. You have to find a used one. 78-97 Dana 60 (and 80-97 Dana 50 TTB) hubs are all the same.
So finding one shouldn't be too bad.
