I'm in the process of setting up the brakes and clutch on my truck. The pedals sit out too far, weather the factory ones or the pedal assembly I bought. I have to pull my knee up quite a ways till I can press down on the pedal, and sometimes my foot catches the back of the pedal.
On everything else I've driven I just pivot my foot to hit the brakes from the gas pedal.
Anyone know how to setup things to get them to work right but not be so far out?
I'd like to keep the factory ones as you don't see anything through the floor anymore, but if it can't be done with those I'd rather have the vehicle safer and use wall mounted pedals.
Height isn't the hard part, it's getting things to fully engage with less travel. I'll need a new master cylinder and add a break booster anyways. I'll probably try to get a hydrobooster to work over a vacuum boost with my engine setup.
