found a dana 60 king pin on craigslist and was hoping you guys could help me out before I buy it to make sure it will fit. asked for some measurements and the guy got 31.5" roughly between spring pins and about 5.75" tube length between the center and inner c on the driverside. so the question is, is this the right axle for or will it bolt into my 74 4x4?
D44 versus D60: But you will have a hard time finding a 60 with the 32.5" spring spacing, it'll have to be from a dentside. The '86+axles are spaced at 36", but are more common.
I would buy it, but keepin mind that if the hubs are gone, check for other missing parts, like caliper anchors are pretty rare for these and hope you have those, if worn/missing it could be ugly. rotors, bearing hubs, calipers, caliper brackets, shafts, all easy to access.

hopefully this doesn't backfire but this is the axle I'm looking at. Unfortunately about 6 hours away from me so kinda hard to pop over and look at it.
