Does anyone know of a place that makes Steel Cowl Induction hoods for the 68-72 style hoods? It seems the only thing I can find is GMC or Honda or New (1990s+) Ford.. Any info?
If anyone is interested I know they aren't steel but I found a place that has some fiberglass hoods for our years with the ram air look. And they also have a 67-72 tilt front clips, e-mail me for more info if interested. Thought I'd put it out there.
http://www.usbody.com/WhereQualityComesFirst.htm This is the site guys. I was so excited about the tilt front end I had to share. I had seen a 70 in a Wendys parkinglot with the tilt and I just didn't have time to stop and ask questions, and from the looks of That persons and the ones on this site I'd say thats where he got his. I think its a reasonable price,What do you guys think? Also it's cool they also sell a glass cab also. Let me know what you think? Sorry the link just takes you to Motorhaven I guess it can't be posted on here.
460, I just want to say you are great, awesome, and among other things. Thanks for that site. That will help GREATLY in my work to turn my truck into my dream..
WoW. I would like to cancel my last comments. Its still a great site. But holy cow.. 6 grand for the whole cab. Man, that seems like a lot.. I guess it itsnt to the serious guys though, huh? WoW. I could still use the giberglass hood though.. Still less weight.. heh...

Did you see the weight though? 50-70 pounds for the WHOLE CAB.
Agreed if my metal wasn't in good shape I'd consider some of those pieces. The only dents I have are in the passenger door (can be pulled), a minor one in front of the Rt front tire, and some wear and tear in the bed that will get welded/filled/re-bent when I do my full resto. For being 33 years old this truck is in amazingly good shape...
